Responsibilities

  • Department
    • Manages sales of Mitr’s product in offline channels. Ensure consistent profitable growth and positive planning
    • Accurately forecasts annual, quarter, and month turnover, both primary for the assigned territory (Offline)
    • Formulate business development strategies to ensure long-term success
    • Set standards and objectives for different stores and departments
    • Coordinate with Team (Retail Supervisor and Retail Assistant Officer) to ensure efficient and consistence sales results 
    • Reviews progress of sales with directors and relevant departments
    • Set standards team motivation and create sale incentive structure included keeping performance indicator (KPI)
    • Oversee, manage and allocate tasks for Retail Supervisor and Retail Assistant Officer to direct contact with store team
    • Ensure compliances of sales policies, practices, and procedures
    • Manage personnel and develop employees’ competency.  Ensure all staff are trained on new products, promotions, and company procedures
    • Require professional work, due diligence and performing responsible tasks as assigned from directors
    • Assist upper management in decisions for expansion or acquisition
    • Contribute or otherwise assist, as required.
  • Store Visits & Inspections
    • Conduct regular visits to assigned stores to ensure operational excellence
    • Evaluate, report, and feedback store displays, product placement, cleanliness, and overall aesthetics
    • Ensure adherence to company standards and branding guidelines
  • Store Audits
    • Conduct detailed operational audits to assess compliance with company policies and procedures 
    • Review store security measures, health and safety standards, and loss prevention protocols
  • Strategic Planning
    • Participate in quarterly planning sessions with senior management to set goals for the area 
    • Develop growth strategies for underperforming stores or new store openings in the area 
  • Financial & Budget Management
    • Track store-level budgets and ensure cost control (e.g., payroll, marketing expenses) 
    • Provide input on sales forecasts and budgeting based on area performance 
    • Review profit and loss (P&L) statements for each store and identify cost-saving opportunities 
  • Team Management
    • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations for store management teams Facilitate communication between departments (marketing, warehouse, creative, etc.) 
    • Manage and participate in recruitment efforts to ensure the team is fully staffed 
    • Collaborate in recruiting, interviewing high-potential talent. (with the approval of recruitment positions) 
    • Track staffing needs and handle urgent recruitment to fill vacancies efficiently
  • Training & Development
    • Ensure all staff are trained on new products, promotions, service and company procedures 
    • Mentor to help them improve leadership skills and store performance
  • Reporting & Communication
    • Report weekly/monthly area performance to regional or senior management
    • Share feedback from the stores with corporate teams (e.g., product, merchandising, marketing)
    • Attend regular meetings with senior management to align on business strategies and targets
  • Sales and Clearance Management
    • Organise sales events or clearance promotions to move slow-selling inventory and optimise stock levels 
    • Collaborate to plan and execute markdowns, end-of-season sales, and special promotions
    • Analyse the effectiveness of sales events and adjust strategies to maximise revenue
  • Occasional Responsibilities
    • Oversee and control the opening of new stores in the area, including personnel recruitment, training, and merchandise display 
    • Handle urgent issues, such as staff shortages, store closures, or serious customer complaints 
    • Oversee and manage new store locations, including the lease agreements

Qualifications

  • Working Experiences
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or other disciplines related to the fashion industry.
    • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel and PowerPoint) for data analysis and presentation.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Fashion Retail.
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Store Manager or equivalent role, OR at least 2 years of direct experience as an Area Manager/Regional Manager.
    • Demonstrable track record of success in managing sales performance and increasing profitability across multiple stores or assigned territories.
    • Experience in managing and developing personnel (Recruitment, Training, Coaching) at the Managerial Level.
  • Other Requirements 
    • Possesses strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop field teams to achieve performance targets.
    • Proficient in analysing sales data, inventory, KPIs, and market trends to formulate effective business strategies.
    • In-depth understanding of fashion retail operating standards, Budget Management, and cost control.
    • Ability to make quick and reasoned decisions to resolve immediate operational issues and customer complaints.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to professionally represent the company when liaising with mall/department store management.
  • Requirements 
    • Ability to travel regularly to visit stores within the assigned area and to travel upcountry (provinces) as required by the business.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain flexibility in working hours to support store operations during critical selling periods (e.g., weekends or festive seasons)

  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 19:00 PM
