The Head of Strategy & Growth is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth and identifying new opportunities for expansion across products, markets, and sales channels.
This role leads the company’s growth strategy by combining data analysis, market insight, and cross-functional coordination to scale revenue while maintaining strong profitability. The position works closely with marketing, product design, operations, and business development teams to translate strategic opportunities into actionable growth initiatives.
Respondibilities:
- Growth Strategy & Revenue Planning
- Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with company revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities to expand revenue across retail stores, e-commerce, and marketplaces.
- Analyze sales performance and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
- Support leadership in shaping the company’s long-term growth roadmap.
- Revenue Performance & KPI Management
- Monitor and analyze business performance across all channels.
- Build and maintain dashboards to track key growth metrics.
- Track KPIs including revenue growth, AOV, conversion rate, CAC, ROAS, and repeat purchase rate.
- Identify operational gaps and propose actions to improve performance.
- E-commerce & Channel Optimization
- Oversee performance across all online platforms including the company website and e-commerce marketplaces (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop).
- Improve online conversion rates and overall digital sales performance.
- Align marketing campaigns, promotions, and inventory planning to maximize channel efficiency.
- Oversee and optimize paid advertising on e-commerce platforms, including sponsored product ads and platform marketing tools to drive traffic and sales.
- Monitor advertising performance metrics such as ROAS, conversion rate, and cost per acquisition to ensure efficient budget allocation.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth campaign execution and platform performance.
- New Product Opportunity Development
- Identify opportunities for new product categories based on customer insights and market trends.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to evaluate product potential.
- Build financial projections and business cases for new product launches.
- Collaborate with product design and marketing teams to prioritize product initiatives.
- New Market Expansion Opportunities
- Evaluate potential expansion into new geographic markets or sales channels.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess feasibility.
- Develop financial models to estimate revenue potential and investment requirements.
- Work with the Business Development to support expansion initiatives.
- Marketing Performance Oversight
- Set clear performance targets for marketing efficiency.
- Monitor marketing ROI and optimize acquisition strategies.
- Work closely with marketing teams to improve campaign performance and customer acquisition.
- Customer Retention & CRM Strategy
- Improve customer retention and lifetime value through CRM initiatives.
- Support loyalty programs, segmentation strategies, and retention campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to increase repeat purchase rate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5–8+ years of experience in strategy, growth, e-commerce, consulting, or commercial roles within consumer brands, retail, or DTC businesses.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategic actions.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing performance metrics, and marketplace operations.
- Experience evaluating new market opportunities, partnerships, or business expansion initiatives.
- Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple growth initiatives and prioritize based on business impact.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decision-making across teams.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven and results-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
