Help us build Paleo Robbie into Asia’s best curated grocer as our Lead Buyer & Merchandiser, leading our product curation & merchandising both online and in-store.
You will be doing
- Category strategy & performance data review:
- Know how our product range compares to the rest of the market (in terms of products, pricing, and quality) for each category, and propose new products and/or strategic adjustments
- Regularly review sales performance data, margins, and market pricing to inform our pricing & merchandising strategy across all categories
- Sourcing & supplier relationships:
- Proactively source and onboard new suppliers (in Thailand) that meet our standards, according to our overall & category strategies
- Build & maintain relationships with existing suppliers and the wider F&B community for new product and promotion opportunities
- Help identify overseas brands for us to add to our imported range
- Merchandising:
- Manage our web/app store categories, descriptions, and promotions
- Work with store manager on creative merchandising displays & maintain visual standards
- Internal education: Share the “why” behind our product ranging decisions with our store team
Who you are
- Passionate and knowledgeable about great quality food and its part in a healthy lifestyle. Product & supplier curation is the heart and soul of our business.
- A great communicator and storyteller. Merchandising & curation are creative processes.
- Good quantitative skills – great merchandising also requires analyzing data to inform decisions & keeping track of many threads & pricing data points
- Excited about the opportunity to play a key “curation” role in a fast-growing company – building Asia’s best curated grocer

- Working hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm; some flexibility for this role to accommodate outside meetings & physical store management
