Role Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager in Beverage / FMCG who understands how to scale brands in modern trade and convenience retail.
This role is not about taking orders
This role is about
- Driving revenue growth
- Managing key accounts (7-Eleven, modern trade retailers)
- Negotiating listings and trade terms
- Improving sell-through and shelf performance
- Expanding nationwide distribution
You will play a critical role in turning strong brands into commercially successful retail businesses.
Commercial & Retail Mindset (What We Expect)
- Understand GP%, rebate, listing fee, trade margin structures
- Know how 7-Eleven and modern trade operate
- Understand planograms, shelf rotation, stock management
- Can forecast sales volume accurately
- Know how to manage distributor relationships
- Think about sell-in AND sell-out
- Understand promotion mechanics & trade marketing
You are comfortable discussing numbers, margin, ROI, and targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Key Account Management
- Manage 7-Eleven and modern trade accounts (Tops, Gourmet, etc.)
- Lead buyer negotiations
- Handle listing process and trade terms
- Ensure smooth factory audit & compliance processes
- Sales Growth & Strategy
- Develop monthly & quarterly sales strategy
- Forecast demand & manage stock planning
- Track sales performance by SKU
- Identify opportunities for expansion
- Trade Marketing & Promotion
- Plan in-store promotions
- Work with marketing team on campaign alignment
- Manage POSM execution
- Monitor shelf visibility & competitor activity
- Distribution & Operations
- Coordinate with distributor(s)
- Monitor stock levels & prevent OOS (Out of Stock)
- Ensure supply chain alignment
- KPIs
- Revenue growth (monthly / quarterly)
- Successful listing expansion
- Sell-through improvement
- Reduction in stock returns
- Promotion performance ROI
- Account retention & relationship strength
Requirements
- 3–8+ years experience in Beverage / FMCG sales
- Direct experience handling 7-Eleven is required
- Strong understanding of modern trade negotiation
- Experience working with distributors
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills
- Able to work in a fast-growing startup environment
- Strategic thinker, not just operational
Work Structure
- Based at Kaset-Nawamin, Bangkok
- Office-based with retail visits
- Must attend key buyer meetings
- Flexible schedule during campaign periods
