Job Summary:
As a Strategic Planner, you are a key player within the strategy team and a trusted partner to Strategy Managers. You lead day-to-day strategic work with growing independence, delivering insight-driven perspectives that shape brand direction and communication strategies. Known for your ability to uncover fresh angles and frame compelling arguments, you’re relied upon by both your team and leadership to build and substantiate strategic points of view. You actively contribute in client meetings, present with confidence. Your thinking helps drive stronger briefs, sharper creative, and smarter brand solutions—making you a go-to voice in solving brand challenges.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Client Management
    • Assess client needs and define strategic requirements for projects.
    • Manage day-to-day strategy workstreams such as brand communications, product concepts, and campaign planning.
  • Strategy
    • Create campaign and communication strategies aligned with business and brand objectives.
    • Present strategic insights and recommendations directly to clients.
    • Support the development of strategic platforms and multi-channel communication strategies.
    • Write clear, persuasive presentations that articulate a strong point of view.
  • Research & Insight
    • Plan and execute research activities, including qualitative studies and analysis of tracking data.
    • Translate research findings into actionable insights to guide creative and strategic thinking.
    • Build a deep understanding of client industries, market dynamics, and consumer behavior.
    • Apply various branding frameworks (e.g., brand purpose, archetypes) to strategic work.
  • Creative Collaboration
    • Lead creative briefings with clarity and direction, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
    • Provide feedback on creative ideas using strategic insights and best practices.
    • Contribute to the strategic thinking behind case studies and award submissions.
  • New Business & Innovation
    • Support new business initiatives by contributing to pitch strategy and insights.
    • Assist senior strategists in preparing internal and client-facing workshops.
  • Leadership
    • Lead small projects independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
    • Influence and inspire peers, teams, and clients with well-constructed narratives and confident delivery.
    • Demonstrate a growing presence and ownership in strategic conversations.


Education and Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, not limited to advertising major
  • Proficiency in English reading skills
  • 3-4 years of advertising or communication experience, with at least 1+ year of experience in planning / strategy
