V Tech Mobile Communication Co., Ltd, as the subsidiary of vivo group, serves as an international business center in Thailand, dedicated to the Southeast Asian market. We are expanding our team and are looking for a skilled Tax and Finance Assistant Manager to join us in Thailand
Responsibilities:
- The position is mainly responsible for handling Tax Compliance Programs to assure adherence to all aspects of internal company and external regulatory compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Thai tax laws and regulations, including corporate tax, VAT, and other local taxes.
- Responsible accurate tax returns and financial reports submission in a timely manner.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.
- Review and approve contract, daily payment and reimbursement to ensure the tax compliance of transaction processing.
- Support the internal teams by performing tax related analysis related to the business operations and/or performances.
- Liaise with tax consultant and tax authority as and when required.
- Travel to other Southeast Asian countries as needed to support local operations and liaise with agents.
Work requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, a minimum of 3 year’s relevant management experience in tax, accounting, or other related areas.
- Preferable to have working experiences at Public Accountancy Firms or consultancy firms.
- Strong knowledge of Thai tax laws and regulations, communicative and can work effectively and efficiently with internal departments and external parties.
- Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
- Proficient in office software, e.g. MS Suite.
- Good reply manner, which shall be timely and efficiently.
