The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new revenue streams, strategic partnerships, and market expansion for YVIS. This role focuses on identifying high-impact opportunities, structuring commercially viable deals, and building long-term collaborations that strengthen YVIS as a leading lifestyle brand.
This role blends creative thinking with strong commercial execution, turning ideas into scalable business opportunities that deliver both brand impact and measurable revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Collaborations & Strategic Partnerships
    • Identify and develop collaboration opportunities with brands, influencers, artists, and communities
    • Conceptualize collaboration ideas aligned with YVIS brand identity
    • Lead end-to-end partnership process: outreach, negotiation, deal structuring, and closing
    • Ensure each collaboration delivers both brand value and revenue impact
  • Retail & Channel Expansion
    • Source and secure new retail opportunities (pop-ups, events, department stores, concept stores)
    • Develop and manage consignment and wholesale partnerships
    • Support expansion into new locations, customer segments, and markets
    • Identify scalable online and offline distribution channels
  • Collaboration Mechanics & Deal Structuring
    • Design and structure partnership models, including:
    • Revenue share agreements
    • Fixed fee + performance incentives
    • Wholesale / bulk pricing
    • Consignment models
    • Marketing exchange (product seeding)
    • Optimize deal terms for profitability, scalability, and risk management
    • Ensure all agreements are commercially sound and aligned with company objectives
  • New Revenue Streams Development
    • Identify and develop new commercial opportunities, such as affiliate and creator-driven sales channels or corporate gifting and bulk order programs
    • Launch and scale new revenue initiatives from ideation to execution
    • Continuously explore and test new monetization models beyond existing channels
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful rollout and scalability
  • Sales Growth & Business Expansion
    • Develop strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base
    • Build and maintain relationships with retailers, distributors, and key clients
    • Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for growth and optimization
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Growth teams to align campaigns with revenue objectives
  • Market Research & Opportunity Identification
    • Research and evaluate new business opportunities (markets, locations, product lines, channels)
    • Identify strategic collaborations and partnerships to reach new audiences
    • Monitor industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity
    • Translate insights into actionable business opportunities
  • Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, collaborators, and stakeholders
    • Act as the main point of contact for all business development partnerships
    • Ensure long-term alignment, performance, and mutual value creation
  • Execution & Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Lead execution of partnerships from ideation through to launch
    • Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Creative Project Manager, Marketing, Creative, Growth Operations, and Operations
    • Align stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and high-quality outcomes
    • Proactively identify and resolve challenges to keep projects on track
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization
    • Track and analyze performance of partnerships and initiatives
    • Evaluate ROI, revenue contribution, and scalability
    • Optimize and scale high-performing initiatives while discontinuing low-performing ones

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, or related roles
  • Experience in fashion, retail, or e-commerce is a plus
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and translate them into actionable business initiatives
  • Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and execution ability
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making and performance evaluation
