ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a skilled ‘Social Media Specialist’ to join the Gadhouse brand marketing team.Working closely with our Global Marketing Manager to plan, execute, and grow our brand presence across global digital channels. You will own the day-to-day execution of Gadhouse’s social media activity — combining strategic and creative thinking with hands-on content planning, community management, and performance analysis. English proficiency is essential, as much of our global communication is conducted in English.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Plan and manage Gadhouse’s social media calendar across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Work directly with the Global Marketing Manager to align content with product launches, campaigns, and brand strategy.
- Brief creative assets to the design team, ensuring all content meets platform & performance requirements.
- Write and edit English-language captions, post copy, and community responses that reflect Gadhouse’s tone of voice — warm, confident, and genuinely music-obsessed.
- Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions across channels (consulting senior team where required), managing community engagement in a timely and on-brand manner.
- Track social media KPIs and prepare regular performance reports with clear insights and recommendations on how we can continually evolve and improve.
- Research trends in music culture andsocial media formats to inform content strategy.
- Coordinate with regional partners and markets (Japan, Europe, Singapore, UK) to support localised content where needed.
- Assist in identifying and managing relationships with KOLs and content collaborators.
- Inform paid media campaigns with our team and present results
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong English communication skills — written and verbal. Non-negotiable for this role.
- Proven experience managing social media channels for a brand, agency, or personal project with meaningful reach & engagement.
- Solid understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube — algorithms, content formats, and best practices.
- Ability to write clear, engaging, ‘on-brand’ copy in English.
- Experience working with or briefing creative teams on visual content.
- A passion for music, audio culture, design, or lifestyle brands.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, small team environment where initiative is valued.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience working with global or multi-market brands.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Sprout Social, or similar).
- Basic photo or video editing skills for quick-turn social assets.
- An existing appreciation for vinyl, turntables, or physical audio formats.
