Responsibilties:
- Network and build strong relationship
- To network and build strong relationships with people. This includes everyone from celebrities, influencers and models to the press, photographers and stylists.
- To establish, build, maintain and ultimately leverage the right connections in order to promote brand or product.
- Raising brand awareness and opening up opportunities.
- Monitor media coverage and opportunities
- Run regular checks of the daily/weekly/monthly media for any mentions of your brand or potential new opportunities. Staying on top of current trends and news is crucial for ensuring
- The ability to work with the media to gain continued attention for your client’s brand is how to keep them at the forefront of the public’s attention.
- Keeping the a message front and centre while managing
- Research and create content (Being innovative in how you generate content is a must.)
- Researching and creating content to share online and in press releases is an essential component of fashion PR. To create buzz and excitement around the brand and product.
- Research and be creative when it comes to getting your brand or products coverage.
- Plan events/ Send gifts and samples/ Analyse competitors/ Report on performance
- Crisis management (to manage brand’s image in a potential crisis situation.)
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years relevant experience in PR
- Degree in relevant fields
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Creative/ Networking
- Proactive, self motivated and ability to work under pressure
- Time management and multi task (Able to submit and get tasks done in a timely
- manner with excellent work and time management)
- Spontaneous and creatively handling changes and challenges
- Have a heart & eyes for fashion
- Team player, collaborate with others well
