Job Summary:

The Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a pivotal role in supporting the COO with daily operations, including product development, minor finance and accounting tasks, human resources, and general company operations. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive individual who excels at multitasking and project management. The Assistant will work closely with the COO to ensure smooth operations and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the COO in overseeing product development processes, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Support the COO with basic finance tasks such as budget tracking, expense management, and financial reporting.
  • Aid in human resources tasks, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, and maintaining employee records.
  • Act as a liaison between the COO and other departments to facilitate communication and project coordination.
  • Manage the COO’s calendar, appointments, and meeting schedules.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries as required.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including documentation, filing, and correspondence.
  • Monitor project progress, deadlines, and provide regular updates to the COO.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the COO.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in an administrative or assistant role, preferably in operations or project management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.
