Founded in Brooklyn in 2016 by Philip Huang and Chomwan Weeraworawit, Philip Huang creates modern clothing rooted in indigenous knowledge passed down through generations of artisans in Northeast Thailand. Working closely with artisan communities, the brand uses plant based regenerative dyes, organic fibers, and handmade textiles to produce thoughtful, versatile pieces for today and the future.
Role Overview
The Studio Operations Manager ensures smooth daily studio function while overseeing production coordination, logistics, and administrative workflows. The role works closely with the founders and production partners and requires ownership of timelines, systems, and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Studio Operations
- Maintain office systems and daily workflows
- Manage calendars, meetings, schedules, studio activities, and showroom visits
- Keep office and showroom organized and presentable
- Oversee materials inventory and order supplies
- Handle on site and off site errands
- Production and Logistics
- Coordinate schedules with pattern makers, manufacturers, and artisanal dyers
- Track production timelines and delivery status
- Maintain inventory across sales locations and showrooms
- Manage local and international shipments
- Finance and Administration
- Prepare operational reports including projections, pricing, cash flow, and sales summaries
- Track receipts and manage expense reporting
- Support accounting tasks including invoices, VAT reports, and payment follow up
- Events and Special Projects
- Assist with planning and execution of internal and external events
- Support operational initiatives and evolving company projects
- Ownership and Growth
- Take ownership of systems and outcomes
- Identify inefficiencies and propose workflow improvements
- Grow the scope of responsibility as the company scales
Who This Role Is For
