Responsibilities:
- Record and monitor inventory transactions, including receiving, transfers, adjustments, and write-offs.
- Reconcile stock balances between accounting system, POS, warehouse records, and physical stock count.
- Investigate stock variances and prepare inventory reports.
- Support monthly stock count and month-end closing.
- Review damaged, expired, slow-moving, and obsolete stock.
- Assist with product costing, inventory adjustment, and COGS-related entries.
- Improve inventory control processes to reduce stock loss and discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in inventory accounting, cost accounting, or stock control.
- Good understanding of inventory flow and stock reconciliation.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP, POS, or inventory systems is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and able to work with cross-functional teams.
